Located in the heart of Old Quebec, a world heritage fortified city, the School of Architecture is housed in the oldest educational buildings in Canada. With a unique focus on design and research, combining an involvement with collectivities, the School of Architecture is recognized for the quality of its educational programs and the originality of its contribution to forwarding the architectural profession.

The School of Architecture seeks candidate whose expertise and experience intersects one (or several) of the three following areas of teaching, research and creation:

1. Person-environment studies and intercultural collaborations, covering for instance the human aspects of architecture and the city, architectural and urban programming, as well as culturally appropriate collaborative and participatory design methods.

2. Digital fabrication and design media, including for instance innovative digital modes of architectural representation, the use of computer-assisted
fabrication and design, interactive design and media, as well as the relationship between the digital and the analogue.

3. Energy efficiency and simulation, addressing for instance technical relationships to building and construction (passive and renewable energy, envelope, environmental systems, ecological materials, etc.).
