Tenure Track Faculty Positions – 2

The Department of Design and Environmental Analysis (DEA) in the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University is seeking two tenure track faculty members (rank: open) in design and facility planning.  Responsibilities include teaching three courses per year, plus thesis supervision for both Masters and PhD candidates. The candidate is also expected to develop an externally funded program of research.

DEA is a uniquely multi-disciplinary department composed of designers, ergonomists, facility planners, and environmental psychologists who are deeply committed to enhancing quality of life through a human-centered approach to designing. This environment offers ample opportunity for faculty cooperation and interactions, both within the department and across the university. Qualifications:  PhD in Interior Design, Architecture (and related design fields), Psychology (environmental), Urban Planning and Facility Management, or a related field, preferred.

Salary:  Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Competitive benefits package.
